Uzbekistan climate
The climate of Uzbekistan is hot and dry in the summer and fall with temperatures ranging from +26C to +45C throughout the country. The winters are humid, with temperatures ranging from 5C to -30C in different parts of the country. The best time to visit Uzbekistan is during the spring and autumn months were the temperatures are mild, although Uzbekistan is also known for its renowned winter ski resorts.

High speed train Afrosiyob, with route – Tashkent – Samarkand – Bukhara – Samarkand – Tashkent started its operation since October, 2011.

Train Talgo (Spain) takes just 2H10M for the road from Tashkent to Samarkand and 3H20M for the road from Tashkent to Bukhara (600 km), and have maximal speed of 250 km/h.

Visa of the Republic of Uzbekistan

In accordance with the legislation of the Republic of Uzbekistan, foreign citizens and stateless persons can enter the territory of the Republic of Uzbekistan and transit through its territory only on a visa.

Visas are issued to foreign nationals and stateless persons on the basis of a visa application (confirmation of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs) at the diplomatic missions and consulates of the Republic of Uzbekistan abroad.

The visa application is issued on the basis of a written request of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan by legal and natural persons permanently or temporarily residing in the territory of Uzbekistan.

Since 2020, the total number of countries whose citizens are entitled to visa-free entry to Uzbekistan.
